"it paddles like a mal and surfs like a shortboard.."
The waterskate is a unique design. Since its release there have been many unauthorised attempts
at copying -- we appreciate this form of flattery. However, it remains the alternative board by which
others are measured.
Waterskates, with significant inbuilt volume, are excellent paddlers -- yet once up and riding they
surf like a regular shortboard, very loose with lots of drive and momentum. They can be surfed either
off the front foot or from the tail -- with multiple sweet spots. Excellent for surfers looking for
volume and performance.

"easy paddling, stability, speed..."
The V-SKATE -- released this winter -- at first glance resembles a regular thruster. However closer
inspection reveals a board with far greater volume than normal and an intricate bottom shape combining
concaves and a spiral vee for generating high speeds. The V-SKATE has approximately 6% less volume than
a Waterskate -- resulting in a "just noticable difference".
This board is an excellent choice for those wanting high performance with extra paddling power.

"easy paddling,loose and fast"......
Released in March 2007 the F-SKATE is a dedicated small wave fish...... perfect
for waves up to 4’(a touch overhead). Low rocker combined with well concealed volume
and subtle concaves create a board with excellent paddle power and high speed potential.
The F-SKATE is fast in a straight line and when encouraged really takes off over
flat sections and in gutless conditions.....in good waves....all the better.
In contrast with other fish(which mostly surf flat)the F-SKATE surfs freely from
rail to rail......creating an easy transition when changing over with other boards.
This board is unmatched for speed and ease of turning in smaller waves. Having almost
identical displacement volume to the Waterskate, F-SKATE’S should typically be ordered
approximately 2"--3" shorter than your regular board. The boards are available in
both thruster and quadfin setups by request.

"noserider with hotdogging capability.."
Released in February 2004 -- the Powerglide is a unique midlength board. Continuing the Waterskate
theme of high volume/flat rocker -- with the addition of a specialised nose / bottom concave -- this
7'0" board can either be nose ridden in the traditional manner -- or off the tail for hotdogging.
Almost 2 boards in one -- with Malibu paddling and shortboard manoeverability/multiple sweet spots.
Another classic first from MILLER.

Appropriate volume with easy paddling allows early entry into the wave to avoid late takeoffs. These boards can be surfed either from further forward for longer turns, or off the tail enabling quick directional changes as necessary. Bottom shape is a soft single concave in the middle fading into a soft Vee under the back foot. The bottom concave allows the board to be ridden high in the wave to enable maximum speed whilst the Vee and subtle rocker (bottom curve) keeps the board nice and loose for optimum positioning.

These boards are built for large powerful waves. They are designed to paddle you in early so that you can avoid late takeoffs and set yourself up with plenty of speed to maximize your chances of making the wave. A single concave in the bottom enables the board to be ridden high in the wave resulting in maximum speed. In addition, a soft Vee under the back foot combined with subtle rocker (bottom curve) allow quick directional changes when necessary.
